What is Crossfit?


CrossFit..
The principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specialising. Combat, survival, many sports, and life rewards from this kind of fitness and on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.  We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.


Constant Variety..The spice of life and of fitness. The more variety and creativity that are placed into the workouts, the more your body will develop and grow stronger. Variety in exercises, sets, reps, weight, rounds, etc. is the key to developing every component of physical fitness.


Functional movements..

Universal motor patterns that mimic human movement in every day life. Functional movements are squats, deadlifts, Pushes, Pulls, Lunging and rotation. Multi-joint movements that are safe, have proven to develop very powerful and useful core strength which provide tremendous neuro-endocrine response, and are the best cardio and best rehab training one can find. Functional movements move from core to extremity and can tolerate high loads and move them long distances in a short amount of time. From elite athletes looking to improve their performance in a particular sport to a grandmother seeking to gain strength to pick up her grandkids from the floor to over her head, functional training is the answer to improving the overall health and well being of everyone, no matter what level of fitness.


High Intensity..
Where all the good stuff is…Intensity is all about hard and fast powerful movements. Intensity depends on your fitness level of fitness, all workouts are scaled to your level of intensity and athletic prowess. Intensity is where the results are! Guaranteed!
